SES move closer to Helios Technology

Our partnership with telecomminucations experts, Helios Technology goes from strength to strength providing customers with enhanced services by combining Helios business and technology consulting services with SES design and implementation services.

Helios are experts in adding value, through the application of telecommunications and information systems, to customer businesses. They bring many years of experience in aeronautical, satellite, land and mobile communications.

As well as their technological expertise Helios brings management consultancy expertise in strategy development, feasibility studies, cost benefit appraisal, financing, outsourcing and training. The SES-Helios partnership has already worked successfully across a number of aeronautical programmes for customers including Eurocontrol, Arinc, NATS, Logica and Air Services Australia.

The success of these early joint programmes has encouraged the two companies to offer their combined services more widely. Helios director Mike Shorthose explains: "We have found that we work well together, with complementary skills and a shared commitment to quality and service. That's why we're taking it one step further providing access to full life-cycle system development for all our customers."
